I stumbled across this site, and after looking at the info and browsing this forum, I'm convinced that I want to take a cruise. I'm just not sure which one. The April 4, 20s 30s, sounds great as I"m 32. but the Jan31 is on my b'day and the Mar 27 spring bash sounds good too. Just wondering if any others around my age plan on any of these. Other ages chime in too as its really all about meeting people for me. Thanks

Im an older cruiser but if I were 32 and looking at my first cruise my order of preferences would be 20s/30s cruise, then March 27 and then the January one. The first 2 appear to be on Carnival ships which are known as the "Fun Ships" and among the best for singles people. The January trip is on Costa which is known for having a much older clientele and while I like their ports, its shorter days. 20s and 30s cruise is always a big party as is March 27 aka Spring Fling. Spring Fling will have a mix of people and there will be more 30, 40, and 50 somethings on that trip....but with many of the people you wont be able to tell. You should also look at these factors: Whats the cost of each trip and for how long? Where do they go for the ports and how much time we will be there? The cost of flights tends to be more expensive in April due to spring breakers so as soon as you decide, shop for a flight and go into the home port a day early for the precruise gathering. Cozumel is a great stop with a beach party at Carlos n Charlies; Ocho Rios offers a trip to Dunn River Falls or a pool with swim up bar service; Nassau offers a great beach at Atlantis Resort which is a close taxi ride or water taxi ride from the ship; Grand Caymen has a swim and snorkel with the Stingrays and a group party at Senor Frogs and the shore excursions tend to be consistent. I would stay with a choice of trips onboard a Carnival ship but I recommend the 20s/30s cruise as your first option with March 27 being Option B.

I agree with Jerry 100%. My first cruise in 2006 was the 20s/30s cruise and I had a blast! I've reached offical "cougarhood" so I'm no longer eligible to that one but that's what got me hooked on singles cruises!

I am seriously considering the 20's and 30's cruise myself in April 2010 and will be my fourth singles cruise and third with Carnival. I really do prefer Carnival and they really ARE the FUN SHIPS, party all the time!!! :-)
As always,
Cheers,
Adam from Ontario, Canada

Unfortunately I cant do New Years, I'm very busy in December and the first half of January. I would love to bring in the year that way but I cant.
