Carmen, fortunately where I live all the summer stuff is on the sales racks at this time of year. Of course, you have to do a lot more digging to find something you want, but well worth it for the prices. Can't speak for the ages of the rest of the group, but I am 55. I am pretty sure there are quite a few around my age, don't think anyone much older and definitely lots of them younger than me, just don't know how much younger. Whichever cruise you decide on, you should do as Cat says and be active on the boards and join in when they have a chat night and you will have many friends before you even get to the cruise.

Lenora, I definitely am putting myself out there more on here than I normally would but 8 days is only so long to have fun with strangers... You have to try to make at least some friends so that it's easier to break in the first day!

Regina, I could definitely use a good laugh!!! Every summer I go away for vacation for at least a week.. This past summer it was to Atlanta, Georgia where I got my heart broken by my best friend. I decided that I needed a re-do and this is what I've set my sights on! Laughing till it hurts while meeting tons of new people and experiencing a kind of paradise I never thought I'd ever see sounds like a fabulous re-do!!!!

Will be making a final decision in the next 72 hours.. Just trying to see if some money I'm waiting on is gonna come through for me... Let's ALL keep our fingers crossed!!!

I definitely should be there... unless my shorts shopping runs late!! LOL.... I actually have booked my flight from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale to arrive Friday evening so I can get an early start with the shopping on Saturday morning! I am so crazy nervous but I know that if I didn't do this I'd regret it!! I've already convinced my best friend to come on the 20s and 30s with me in April!

LOL, Thats great that you are planning your 2nd cruise already. Wait to book the 2nd when you are on the ship or shortly after. SC usually offers $50 off if you book within so many days.

If you just booked online, you should have access to the Dec 6 board on here within 24 hrs. If you don't get access, contact SC by Friday so you can have it this weekend. There is usually a chat going for this cruise on Sunday nights at 8pm ET. There is a link to "visit the Chat Lobby" at the top of this screen. Look for our cruise there and join the chat.

Mmmmm Miller Lite!!!!! My favorite thing I can't get in Canada... The only reason I wish I was staying stateside for this vacation.. Guess I'll have to have fun the two nights I'm there before the cruise and the one night after... Any time I fly into the States I don't even leave the airport until I have one... Countdown is on for Miller Lite!!!
