This really sounds like a fun group, based on messages! It's fun posting and lurking as well.

I've seen a lot of references both to the number of people and the gender ratio for various upcoming cruises in several different threads.

Where do you find this info?

Thanks ahead for info.

Steve

I just posted this elsewhere but thought you might like to see it here:

I just spoke to SC.com and learned that there are currently 190 singles signed up for our cruise. And the ratio is 124 women to 66 men. I have to admit, I like those odds.

As a fellow bit chomper I am raring to go and I can't wait to see all of you onboard.

Sounds like you wanna pillage the village and plunder asunder, Domingo! Drool Lol. Seriously though, I'm in love with those odds myself.

Criminy I'd like to go on this cruise! But I just don't see how I can build up the funds in time.

Oh well, maybe for the best. After all, although I've cruised before, I'm sort of a shy guy and going on a NY's cruise with close to 200 people on my first singles cruise, might be a bit much.

200 isn't a bit much. The Halloween Cruise (with 450 - 550) is a bit much. My first cruise we had 166 people and it was really quite intimate. You'll find a group of 10 - 20 friends that you'll want to hang out with and that will be that. You'll meet other fun and interesting people, but you'll spend most of the time with your "crew." You should splurge.

Me and a good friend of mine are about ready to book this cruise.... the odds don't really work in our favour. However I had such a great time on the 20/30's cruise earlier this year, and it doesn't work with my schedule in April.... So if I'm going to be cruising with a singles cruise, this is the one.
But when I tell people about my singlescruise experience I tell them it was one of the funnest vacations I have ever been on, and I went alone that time.

Hope to possibly book today ;)

Very well said. I couldn't agree more.
