What a great way to spend New Year’s Eve on the Carnival Dream with some of my favorite SC cruiser’s (that’s all of you.) This cruise starts out with a bang as it was the big night New Years Eve and we didn’t waste any time. The first SinglesCruise.com party was a mixer held right before dinner. Everyone enjoyed free drinks for an hour while they started meeting the others in our group.

After Thanksgiving Singles Cruise on Oasis of the SeasThis year the After Thanksgiving Cruise 2011 cruise was on the biggest ship in the world The Oasis of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean ship. I could talk all day about this ship, there is so much to talk about ! I’ll be honest, I had some anxiety about hosting our SinglesCruise.com group on such a big ship. I was concerned whether the group would stay together on such a large ship with so much to see and do. I can tell you– I was so wrong! There was no need for concern, this ship was perfect for our group and I’m sure will be for the future groups coming up this year. 28Nov
Bahamas 20s and 30s Get-Away Weekend!Question: Is it possible to come home with 166 new friends after a short weekend getaway cruise?? Answer: ABSOLUTELY!! A GREAT time was had by ALL who sailed with us on the 20′s and 30′s cruise on the Carnival Imagination that sailed out of Miami on a unique date we’ll never forget, 11/11/11! With loads of fun activities packed into our schedule, we started the cruise off with our version of ‘Speed Meeting’ where each cruiser gets a moment to briefly introduce themselves to other cruisers in the group. We advised the Captain that this would be taking place around 7pm so that he could arrange some ‘rocking and rolling’ in the lounge that would allow our cruisers to get up close and personal with each other. Well… It worked!! Thanks again, Captain!! 14Nov
2011 Halloween Singles Cruise a Huge SuccessHi everyone, Halloween 2012 was THE BEST Halloween cruise we have ever had! Our big Halloween costume party and contest was once again a highlight of the cruise. I’m pleased to announce Carlos won the big prize for his costume of “Pinhead” in “Hellraiser.” Wow, he was definitely in character. There were so many great costumes it was an absolute trip to see the creativity of our fun singles cruisers! 26Sep

Summer Bermuda Singles Cruise AdventureI have been to most every Caribbean Island but I had never been to Bermuda. I have been trying to get there and although it’s not a Caribbean Island I somehow expected the same type of experience. Wow, was I wrong! Bermuda is amazing, this is my NEW FAVORITE ISLAND! I’m not even sure what topped what but the guests were fantastic, the ship was really special and the fact that we stayed three nights in the same port allowed a totally different, unrushed cruise experience that I have never been a part of before. 15Aug

Memorial Day May 28, 2012 Singles CruiseMemorial Day 2011 SinglesCruise, We were on the Carnival Dream for this Western Caribbean sailing and the ship was as beautiful as the weather. We had 7 days sun and fun. It was NBA finals week so the crowd was buzzing with excitement. Sorry to say the Mavs beat the Heat, but being on a cruise ship helped soothe the pain. Cozumel was great fun at Carlos n Charlie’s beach club, Roatan beach party was super, Belize is filled with adventurous excursions and the surprise spot of the week was Costa Maya seemed everyone enjoyed the Sun filled beach and pool area with great drinks and Mexican food right there on the pier, didn’t even have to get out of the pool. Nice group of folks, and no Drama. Except the morning of Costa Maya at 6am when I was awakened by a heavy smell of smoke, I lied there half dazed thinking oh no! But it turned out to be smoke from the shore area from brush fires. The smoke came toward the ship and thru the ventilation system, but it took 10 minutes to find that out, boy was I relieved! All in all it was a great cruise and they all went home happy and looking forward to coming back. 25May
40′s Plus April 23, 2011 Caribbean Singles Cruise!Whoever said, “youth is wasted on the young” was right! Judging by the energy level, no one would have ever thought the April 23, 2011 sailing was a singles 40’s plus group. The Battle of the Sexes game was nothing short of a small riot! Maria had the ladies all fired up and “took no prisoners.” The “Grease” party was amazing with the Pink Ladies and Rizzo strutting their stuff along with the T-Bird’s swagger, everyone looked fabulous. There was even an Elvis sighting. It was a huge success and many have already booked the November 12, 2011, 40’s plus sailing. We hope to see you there! 21Apr
20s and 30s Spring Break Singles CruiseWow, what a great time we had on our recent 20s and 30s Spring Break singles cruise! Close to 200 singles came out to frolic on the Carnival Dream last week for some sunshine, new adventures and new friendships. We met in Orlando the night before the cruise set sail and ended up partying at City Place, which is a great entertainment venue with a huge variety of live music, clubs and dancing. Once on board, we held our popular lock and key mixer to get to know one another and then visited the beautiful port of Nassau, Bahamas. Our Woodstock dance party was HILARIOUS! So many people dressed up, it was such a good laugh – Tony, Jesse and April were my favorites! |
No Casualties! Be back on the ship on time! (Yes, there were six people unaccounted for at that port stop but they were not with our group so all is well!)
