Thank you to all who joined us on our recent Halloween cruise – what a blast we all had! I loved our pool party at the Bahia Mar, it was a great venue for a nice meet and greet before we set sail on Halloween 2009!
The entire week of weather was fabulous! The highlight was most definitely Halloween night when we paraded around in our creative costumes, sang the night away, and chose our costume contest winners!
First place went to Cherie, who made her own costume, she was the cutest “Energizer Bunny!” Robert was a Michael Jackson hit, and he even moon walked for us. Larry was the “Man in the Yellow Hat” from Curious George and the resemblance was astounding! We had many great costumes though, including our very own Austin Powers, Jay! He rocked the house singing “My Way” in the Carnival Legends show, it was a superb performance.
As I said the weather was great so our Cozumel Beach Party was fantastic with over 200 fun singles in attendance – we took over the entire place. Deb and Joyce went on the Dolphin tour and I swear to you they glowed with happiness! Jerry said that he couldn’t believe how touching the Indian Village in Panama was and another man said he actually shed a tear he loved the place so much….many said they had a very special connection with the Indian Villagers and their Chief. The rest of us boarded a Bob Marley bus, thanks to dirty ErnieJ, and went off to enjoy a beautiful beach resort. We had the place to ourselves and the food was magnificent. Almost 200 of us went zip lining through the Costa Rican rain forest….a very unforgettable experience. Truly beautiful, we even saw monkeys in the trees!
Our wine tasting was awesome, thanks to Daniel and his gifts! Our salsa night was A HIT! The dance floor was packed all night…..really a fabulous cruise. We can’t wait until next year on the brand new CARNIVAL DREAM! We have just posted details on the 2010 Halloween singles cruise sailing!

Hey Shelby – I’m John Vitelli…remember me? I didn’t wear a costume and was taking videos at our Halloween party!! I really had a blast on our Halloween cruise. It was my first cruise EVER and you and your team made it very memorable for me!! You are such a hot lookin lady and have the brains to go along with it. I can see why you love your job. I’ll never forget this cruise. I may be back on next year’s Halloween cruise and I will WIN the Costume 1st Place Prize too!! Looking forward to seeing you again.
