Spring Fling Cruise = Sun, Fun and Adventure!

— Shelby @ 12:11 pm

Yes Spring was in the air, great weather, good people, and some fun times for all. The first sea day out the weather was perfect, and a fun-loving group left the sunny decks for a good game of trivia and Battle of the sexes. After some very competitive rounds, the women won by one point!

Day 2 was beautiful and we reached San Juan in time for a Rockin’ good time at Senior Frogs. Super Music, Dancing, and Drinks. You guys almost drank Senior Frogs dry (which by the way-has never happened before). We heard that Dewey came close with some help from his friends. Rock Stars! A great time had by all and happy to say all my festive partiers made it back to the Triumph on time for a Midnight sail away party.

20’s and 30’s Cruisers Brought Fun to the High Seas!

— Shelby @ 12:52 pm

OMGoodness! This cruise was “off the hook!” The energy was high and the laughter was loud! I can not tell you how many wonderful memories were made this cruise – too many to count. The weather was pristine and love was in the air! So many friendships were made and of course there were definitely some budding romances. The parties were even more outrageous than usual. The chocolate and whipped cream party was unbelievable! One of our guests brought a chocolate fountain and two cases of whipped cream! Harvey sure got things heated up and never ceases to amaze me.

Canadians Know How to Cruise!

— Shelby @ 1:10 pm

I found out less than 24 hours before our pre-cruise “Meet and Greet” at the Radisson Resort at the Port that I would have the honor (I think it’s “honour” in Canada) of being the Cruise Director for this cruise. I was a little nervous after dropping my poor confused little dog off at the neighbors and heading to the airport for the flight to meet up with this group, but after meeting Major Bob and Dave from Toronto while having lunch and the rest of the party a little later that evening, I realized I had nothing to worry about, except maybe more Canadians! The weather must have been pretty cold up there because we certainly had a lot of them on this cruise. Let me tell you, our friends to the north know how to party! We had Juanita and Leeanne from some little place way, way up there in British Columbia who seemed to enjoy messing with my head and many others I’d love to mention, but this blog would be really long. Just know that I’m still thinking about all of you and smiling.

A Fabulous Time with our 60+ Group!

— Shelby @ 12:56 pm

Most of the group started off our cruise vacation by meeting the night before at the Essex House Hotel in downtown Miami Beach. They had a great patio and lovely bar we could all chat in.

There is no doubt you were all excited about our beautiful ports of call but there was so much to do before we even arrived to San Juan!  The chocolate party was fantastic, many people brought different kinds of sweets and candies, so many in fact, that they had to extend it to the Chocolate and Wine Tasting a few nights later!

A group of fun-loving singles!

— Shelby @ 3:29 pm

This was a very special cruise – one of our fabulous past cruisers Patty, from Chicago, brought a group of almost 30 wild fun single friends to sail with us!  She wanted to make sure they were all able to thaw out from the Northern freeze. These people were some of the most fun-loving free spirited guests I have ever had. Thank you Patty! We also had 30 new cruisers from all over that joined the group. They were just as wonderful and jumped right into the fun.  I do believe we will have a few long term couples emerge as a result of this cruise. Our singles events were all extremely well attended, and the passion over our “life changing prizes” was tangible. They were such fun!

Break from the Winter Cold!

— Shelby @ 3:29 pm

The mid-January Western Caribbean cruise was a well timed break from the massive artic air blowing over much of the United States. One guest left 40 below weather to arrive in Miami and a wonderful 74 degrees. We never saw a drop of rain for the entire cruise and had great weather the entire week.

Everyone attended the orientation mixer and it was a great time to get to know one another. At dinner the first night, our large group of singles were seated right in the middle of the dining room and caused quite a buzz in the dining room. They all wanted to know who the fun group was and how they could get a name necklace!
