Tour 1: Budva & Kotor | June 26

Approximate Departure: 2:30pm
Approximate Duration: 4 Hours

Budva is kissed by the open Adriatic Sea and is one of oldest settlements. Kotor is nestled in the inner corner of the Bay of Kotor and hugged by mountains. These two special places combined will highlight your visit to Montenegro. After leaving the bay, your drive takes you through the landscapes of the valley of Grbalj. Approach the open Adriatic coastline through the town of Budva, and reach the jewel of the coast, Sveti Stefan.

Once a 15 century settlement, it is now a world renowned luxury resort connected with the main land by a narrow isthmus. After a photo stop above this island, you'll visit the 2,500 year old Budva, where you'll enjoy a walking tour. It was an urban settlement in the times of the Old Greek and Illyrian civilizations. It even appears in old Greek legends. Walk through the narrow streets and small squares of this fortified medieval town, mostly influenced by the ancient republic of Venice. Numerous civilizations after these have also marked the history of Budva. See the most important buildings and enjoy some free time. An orientation walk through old town Kotor completes your tour. You'll love its streets and squares lined with magnificent structures, all protected by the massive city walls.

Driving along the coastal road, you'll reach the site of Perama, where you'll stop to take photographs of the famous views of Mouse Island.

Continue towards the village of Lakones for a view of the Paleokastritsa and take a few more memorable photos before returning to the port. You'll also stop at a Koum Kouat distillery where you'll see a small exhibition of antique distillery equipment and sample the product. The Koum Kouat citrus fruit, a variety which only grows in Corfu, is made into one of the island's most famous products, a liqueur with the same name, plus fruit preserved sweets. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase local liquors before returning to your ship.

Tour 5: Tuk-Tuk Panoramic Ride and Old Town | July 1

Approximate Departure: 8:15am
Approximate Duration: 3 Hours

After departing from the pier, you will soon pause for photos at the Franjo Tudman Bridge, the most expensive bridge in Croatia. Named to honor the country’s first president, the suspension bridge is a beautiful, modern structure that offers sweeping harbor views.

Continuing along the coastal road in an open-air vehicle known as a tuk-tuk, you will soon ascend Srdj Hill, which offers a different perspective of Dubrovnik. Napoleon’s soldiers built Fort Imperial here in 1812 because of the strategic location and view of the sea.

You will then enjoy a meandering ride down to Pile Gate, an ancient entrance that leads to a welcoming square in Dubrovnik’s medieval Old Town. Arriving here, you’ll commence a guided walking tour along the main street, commonly known as the Stradun. You might pass the ornate Cathedral of the Assumption, the 16th-century Sponza Palace, and the polygonal Onofrio Fountain, which supplied Dubrovnik with water for more than 500 years.

Following your guided tour, you may choose to extend your exploration of Old Town by walking the ramparts of the medieval city walls, which date to the 13th century. The full circuit is a little over a mile, but it’s worth every step, as the ever-changing views of the sea and Old Town are stunning. If you prefer, there are plenty of places to shop or grab a bite to eat. When you are ready to return to the ship, there is a shuttle available to transfer you back.
