Need A Roommate?

Are you traveling alone and in need of a roommate? One of the exclusive benefits of traveling with SinglesCruise.com is that we will match you with a roommate to make your trip more pleasurable and affordable. Our team aims to match you with a roommate of the same gender and age range and we encourage all single travelers to take advantage of this complimentary service.

When making your online reservation, simply choose “double” when you select your cabin, and then choose “yes” on the next page when we ask if you would like to take advantage of our roommate matching service. Not only does sharing a cabin allow you to meet a new travel companion in our group right away, but it also saves you money on the double occupancy cabin rate. Many of the roommates we pair up end up being great friends!

*Please note: Our roommate matching service is subject to availability at the time of your reservation. We will aim to match ages as close as possible. Our roommate matching is strictly for non-smokers—this is for the comfort of all our roommate matches, and it relies on the honor system at booking and common courtesy while onboard. Even if you don’t consider yourself a regular smoker, if you do choose to smoke during the cruise, then you will not have the option of using our roommate matching on any future cruises.

This is a VERY popular cruise, reserve today!

Sunday October 29, 2017 » 9:30AM - 6:30PM Princess Cays, Bahamas

Cruise to Princess Cays and you'll come ashore in Love Boat Marina — a sign that this private resort on the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas was designed to be classic cruising perfection. Make landfall and discover an island's worth of vacation fun and amenities. You'll find a BBQ pit already fired up for lunch. Somewhere among the palm trees you might spy the exclusive adult-only retreat. By now it's clear that Princess Cays is good for more than just a beach day, but plan on fitting one in anyway — this wouldn't be a prime cruise destination without great things to do, and great ways to get wet, like swimming, kayaking and sailing.

Wednesday November 1, 2017 » 8am - 5pm Ocho Rios Jamaica

When it comes to dream vacations, an Ocho Rios cruise has to be near the top of the list. Nestled in an emerald Jamaican landscape, Ocho Rios is this island nation's prime cruise destination. Your cruise to Ocho Rios docks near some of the Caribbean's most fabled resorts and the cascading waterfalls of Dunn's River. Enjoy the best of Jamaica on your Carnival cruise to Ocho Rios, whether you're riding through lush sugarcane fields or touring the waterfront home where a legendary English novelist penned his early secret agent thrillers. From the reggae rhythm to the action-packed activities at Dunn's River Falls, an Ocho Rios, Jamaica, cruise has all the elements of a blockbuster film — one where you're the star. Start planning your Caribbean cruise with a call at Ocho Rios today and get ready for your close-up.

Thursday November 2, 2017 » 8am to 4pm Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Cruise to Grand Cayman, go barefoot in the sand and be oh-so- elegant... all in one day. Enjoy laid-back British civility in a sun-splashed Caribbean tropical locale on your Carnival Grand Cayman cruise. Don't let the island's scrubland terrain fool you — a spectacular marine paradise lies just offshore, where a living undersea wall tapers off dramatically into the ocean depths. Cruises to Grand Cayman bring you directly to the best scuba diving and snorkeling in the kaleidoscopic Cayman Islands. When you get up close and personal with the resident stingrays and turtles, you'll soon learn why beach-goers and nature lovers rank cruises to the Grand Cayman as some of the best in the Caribbean.

Friday November 3, 2017 » 10:30am to 7:30pm Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is proof that Mexico can do 'island flavor' with the best of the Caribbean. It may not be the biggest island in the sea, but Cozumel offers a huge variety of things to do, see, taste and explore. This island just happens to be perched atop a coral reef, which promises hours of snorkeling or scuba diving fun. Cruises to Cozumel dock at the island's heart — just minutes from San Miguel's seafront shops and the white sand beach at Chankanaab National Park. Drift among star corals and sea fans on a Cozumel diving excursion or simply kick back on the beach beneath your own palm palapa as the turquoise waves roll in. With non-stop zip line action, ancient discoveries at the nearby Mayan ruins, or time spent with your toes in the sand, a cruise to Cozumel may just top your best vacations list… before you even get home.

The Carnival Conquest and all of our Singles Cruise guests arrive back in Fort Lauderdale. After an exciting week full of fun, the cruise has finally come to an end. The memories and all your new found friendships will last a lifetime!

Meet Your Cruise Hosts!

Our onboard hosts have one goal, making sure you have a great time each and every hour of your vacation. They organize the singles only onboard events, make sure all guests feel comfortable and an integral part of the group, share their recommendations for your time on-board and onshore, and take care of any small details you need attending to.

Shelby : Lead Cruise Director

Shelby is our lead cruise director and loves being a singles cruise host because she really enjoys getting to meet all of our guests. She says they are fun and full of energy and simply the nicest people on the seven seas! Her favorite SinglesCruise.com activity is teaching salsa and cha cha dance classes to our adventurous guests and watching them dance up a storm. 1-2-Cha-Cha-Cha!

Shelby has been part of our operations team for 7 years and has hosted over 50 singles cruises. When she is not out cruising, she is working behind-the-scenes to coordinate all of the fun you have onboard and on shore. Before joining SinglesCruise.com, Shelby held a variety of roles leading the fun at Princess Cruises such as Fitness Manager/Assistant Cruise Director, Crew Activities Manager and Senior Cruise Director. As you can guess, Shelby has traveled the world and her favorite destinations are Venice, Bora Bora, and St. Martin.

Rick : Team Lead and Cruise Host

Rick is the Team Lead at our SinglesCruise.com headquarters and has been a travel agent for over 17 years. He is responsible for many behind-the-scenes tasks including overseeing our cruise specialists department, handling customer service issues, arranging pre-cruise hotels, maintaining our message boards and occasionally hosting our singles cruise groups.

Rick has hosted over 20 singles cruises and he enjoys meeting and getting to know many of our guests on a personal level. He has made many good friends from all over the world. His favorite activity to host is any of the trivia games we play onboard since he's always been a big jeopardy fan and likes to see the friendly competition! He also really likes the scavenger hunts too as those can get so crazy and funny.

If pressed to pick his favorite travel destination, he would have to say Machu Picchu in the Andes Mountains of Peru. He says it's a very special place that should be on everybody's bucket list.

Ingrid : Cruise Host

Ingrid has been with our parent company, Travel Leaders, for 8 years and has hosted for SinglesCruise.com several times. Ingrid loves hosting and meeting all of the wonderful guests. She loves to witness the friendly interaction of the singles cruisers and she is always amazed at the quick bonds of friendship that are created on board. Ingrid is an avid cyclist and is currently training for her 3rd Century ride (100 miles). Her favorite cruises have been Alaska & the Mediterranean, you should join her on board!

Doni : Cruise Host

Doni enjoys being a host because she loves to travel and meeting new people. She has worked three contracts on Holland America living on the ship six to eight months at a time. When Doni is not cruising, she loves to ride motorcycles and work in her antique shop refurbishing furniture to the "vintage chic" look. She lives in Florida because it makes her feel like she is on a vacation every day. She originally calls Oklahoma City home.

FAQs

What's included in your cruise fare?

Food, food and more food! All of your meals and snacks throughout the day in the main dining areas are included with your singles cruise. Room service is also a nice alternative and is usually complimentary but please inquire on your cruise as some late night requests may involve a nominal service charge. Some ships offer optional gourmet specialty restaurants that charge a nominal fee.

Drinks - There is complimentary fountain water, ice tea, coffee and a small choice of juices available in the buffet area 24 hours/day. Any beverage ordered at the bar such as soda, bottled water, alcohol drinks, juice and specialty coffees are an additional fee. Most cruise lines now offer inclusive bar packages that will include beer, wine and soda for an upfront fee of approximately $45 per day. Please inquire with our team for details whether this option is available on your singles cruise. One small caveat: everyone in your stateroom must order the beverage package in order for you to be eligible to purchase it.

Entertainment - Cruise ships cater to the casino lovers and show stoppers! Live bands, comedy clubs, Las Vegas style production shows and deck parties are all included in your fabulous cruise vacation. The vast majority of cruise lines include all the onboard entertainment with your cruise fare.

Taxes/Port Fees - SinglesCruise.com includes all of these excess fees in our final pricing so there are no surprises. Taxes and port fees are a large percentage of the cruise cost and many travel agencies will charge them separately.

Not Included: Gratuities for the ships staff. Most cruise lines add approximately $12/day per person to your onboard cruise bill which is split up between your room attendant, dining room servers and those hard-working behind-the-scenes employees who making sure the buffet is full at all times. It is customary, but voluntary, to tip your state room steward and waiter extra in cash if you feel their service was exceptional.

What are the ages of the other singles onboard?

Most of our singles cruises are open to singles of all ages 21 years and above with the majority of people in any group usually falling somewhere between 35 to 55 years old. Of course, there will be singles younger than 35 as well as over 55, so don’t let those statistics stop you!

What are the average men to women ratios on the singles cruises?

Most of our typical singles cruises are very close to a 50/50 ratio which is what we strive for and again will ultimately depend on who signs up for any particular cruise. We will do our best to get equal numbers of the opposite sex to join all cruises, however this cannot be guaranteed. No matter who ends up in your group, you are sure to make new friends and have the time of your life!

Is the entire ship single travelers?

No, the entire ship is not all single travelers. Although our groups typically have quite a large presence onboard the ships, there are still other "non-single" travelers onboard.

What types of singles cruise with SinglesCruise.com?

Singles who travel with SinglesCruise come from all over the US and even around the world. Some of our guests are looking to make a romantic connection, others are interested in having fun and meeting new friends and many don't like traveling alone and enjoy being part of our large groups.

Are the SinglesCruise.com activities open to any singles onboard the ship?

No, singles must book with SinglesCruise to take advantage of our exclusive onboard program.

Do you match singles with roommates? What if I prefer my own room?

We do match singles with roommates of the same gender and similar age (whenever possible) at no additional charge. Booking early will help ensure that you are matched with someone close to your age but this cannot be guaranteed. This complimentary matching service saves our guests money by allowing them to take advantage of the shared (double) occupancy cabin rate. This service is available in most standard cabin categories but not available for suites. If a single prefers to room alone, we can provide rates on single occupancy cabins.

Our goal with our complimentary roommate matching program is to help foster the development of new friendships during your singles cruise and offer you the opportunity to save money by avoiding any single supplement charges imposed by the cruise lines for single cabins.

Please note that SinglesCruise.com accepts no responsibility for roommate matching incompatibility such as sleep patterns, snoring, noise, or age differences. If you are concerned that any of these disparities may be an issue affecting the enjoyment of your vacation, we recommend you purchase a single cabin or better yet - bring a friend along who may also enjoy a singles cruise!

SinglesCruise will match clients of the same gender to share a cabin, and it will try to match roommates based on age similarity, although this is not a guarantee. SinglesCruise does not conduct any type of background checks on it clients in general, and specifically does not conduct background checks on matching a client with another in a roommate situation.

SinglesCruise makes no representations or warranties regarding compatibility between roommates. Our roommate matching is strictly for non-smokers - this is for the comfort of all our roommate matches, and it relies on the honor system at booking and common courtesy while onboard. Even if you don’t consider yourself a regular smoker, if you do choose to smoke during the cruise, then you will not have the option of using our roommate matching on any future cruises.

Under no circumstances will SinglesCruise be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental arising out of or relating to the conduct of any client or guest action or interaction between clients or guests, including without limitation bodily injury, emotional distress, harassment, and defamation.

Can I book shore excursions through SinglesCruise.com?

Yes, SinglesCruise.com offers optional shore excursions for our group. Shore excursions are guided tours or adventures in a cruise ship's port of call. We will provide information and booking instructions on these excursions approximately 60 days prior to each cruise. You may also purchase shore excursions directly with the cruise lines through their own Shore Excursion Desk.

Can we meet any of the singles on our cruise before we depart?

Yes, you will be given access to a private Facebook page to communicate with and get to know other singles on your single cruises. We typically hold an optional pre-cruise meet and greet and arrange a pre-cruise hotel in the port city the night before the cruise departs to welcome all of our singles and begin the fun! Ask our cruise specialists for the pre-cruise details after your booking is completed.

Do I need a passport?

Yes

How do I obtain a passport?

United States citizens can visit the State Department's travel website www.travel.state.gov, or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center: 1-877-4USA-PPT; TDD/TTY: 1-888-874-7793. The standard processing of a passport is six weeks if you apply from inside the U.S. SinglesCruise recommends that all travelers gain a passport even if just considering a cruise vacation.

What should I pack?

Daytime calls for casual clothing, and the dress code for the evenings includes anything from casual resort wear to a sport coat and tie. Remember, jeans, shorts and t-shirts are never permitted in the dining room during dinner. Each cruise generally has one or two formal nights onboard the ship where passengers get decked out in party dresses, evening gowns, suits or tuxedos. Don't forget to pack your special outfits for the SinglesCruise.com theme nights (you will receive a description of your cruise theme nights prior to departure).

When can we board the ship?

Embarkation normally begins three to four hours before the cruise departure time (see your cruise documents for details).

Can I bring alcohol or other drinks?

Many cruise lines allow you to bring a bottle of wine/champagne on board on embarkation day as long as it is in your carry-on luggage, we suggest researching their website for more information. Any alcohol purchased on board or in port will be held until you disembark the vessel. Most cruise lines allow you to bring a small amount (approximately 12 small bottles) of non-alcoholic beverages such as water or soda.
